Finally! Tarrytown This Weekend. UT Artwork, Vintage, MCM, 600 LP’s and MORE!

Our upcoming sale that we’ve been promoting like crazy is coming, finally!

We hope you have enjoyed all the previous tidbits.

It’s a sale worth calling in sick to work!

This is the estate of two long-time Austinites. Both were UT professors back in the 50s and 60s, and attended many of the student-faculty art auctions, acquiring most of the pieces we will have for sale this weekend. They had great taste in furniture, and they kept all their kids’ toys and books.

If you like true vintage and original artwork, then this is the sale for you!

This sale has decades old Austin/UT artwork. Not Longhorn stuff, but hippie child, abstracts, and Austin-centric artwork from some budding artists back in the 1960s.

We’ve got Ralph White, Mort Baranoff, Karl Umlauf, John Guerin, Stephen Magada, Susan and Stephanie Amster, early work by Philip Trussell, Gibbs Milliken, Diane Labowitz Rutt, Peggy Goldstein, Carolyn Manosevitz, Carola Nan Roach, and more!

Along with our UT artwork, we’ve got an original Owen Cappleman mixed media, room divider gifted to our clients in 1974. It is for sale and can become yours!

Our MCM, Austin-centric Tarrytown residents also saved their kids’ toys. And back then, this stuff was made right. These toys were built to last, now many of these items are collectible and still in great shape.

Most records are in very good plus condition, and include a modest collection of Bossa Nova and Jazz.

This sale also has vintage clothing, over 150 pairs of designer shoes sizes 8 and 8.5; mid-century modern furniture, books, and some really cool ephemera, including politically minded author signed books, pamphlets, buttons and more!
