Austin Estate Sale junkies, get ready to shop! Starting Friday, October 28th , we have a pickers paradise, a bargain hunters buffet. Whatever you call it, this is the kind of sale that estate sale lovers dream about!

Just imagine what you'll find at this estate sale! (A true "estate")

Because this sale is so completely over the top, Amber Ostrich has decided to make it an event. Hosted in Elgin, this sale is going to be worth the drive. Not only do we have seven, yes SEVEN barns filled, stuffed, and packed with a lifetime of collecting, but we will also have a coffee truck, Jack Hates Coffee, and a juggler/balloon artist. Get a coffee; entertain your kids; and, best of all, SHOP!

This estate sale is hosted on a large, fenced off estate, easy to maneuver, lots of parking. We’ve got barns and an over sized carport filled with indoor and outdoor furniture, artwork, and picture frames. This is a dream sale for interior designers, home stagers and set designers!

With over 100 empty frames and 150 pieces of artwork, we’ve got one barn dedicated to art: The Art Barn. Next to that, we’ve got the Antiques Tent with country hutches and some unique church items: a kneeling prayer bench, an offerings cabinet, holy water stands, and large wooden church doors.  We will also have the Hobby Lobby room open inside the house for crafty shoppers, filled with candles, candelabras, home décor, paints, easels, and other crafting supplies. Pair that with all the art frames and it’s a crafting paradise. We’ve also got the patio filled with garden furniture. Take advantage of this summer weather and enjoy a new patio set.

Won't you be so happy to see this sight at our HUGE estate sale this weekend?

And that’s just the first weekend!

This sale is so huge we need three weekends to sell it all! It’s taken us six weeks to prepare, sorting, organizing, cleaning and staging for your shopping convenience. If you don’t make it the first weekend, do not fear that the pickin’s will be slim on the second and third week. There will be plenty to go around. There is no way this sale will be picked over. Not only do we have a ton of stuff, but there are duplicates of many, many items.

Just to give you a preview of the second and third weekends, inside the house we have a Stoddard baby grand piano, a pool table,  furniture made by Henredon, Broyhill, Drexel Heritage,  also Swedish-designed, and select antiques. We have glassware galore and many new-in-package bed linens. We have glass rooster collection; a decorative egg collection with over 80 eggs; bamboo and rattan furniture; MORE artwork, Persian rugs and a 150-plus cookbook collection. There are garden and patio items, original artwork, books, collectibles, jewelry, perfume, kitsch, knickknacks, workout equipment, you-name-it, we’ve got it! It’s too much to list.

This is a sale you’ve just got to see for yourself. It’s jaw-dropping, I tell ya.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Wildfire Relief Fund.
